How does authorization (as opposed to authentication) work with apple sign in? With Google sign in you get an actual email that can be pre-authorized on the server. With this, the server only has a phony email to work with, so how can you match that phony email to authorized users?
- burlesona 7y agoIIRC users have the option to share their real email or not.
- larkost 7y agoIn this sort of login authorization is considered the severs responsibility, and in most cases that use it it amounts to: you get access to you stuff. This only handles authentication. If you need managed authorization, you are going to have to handle that yourself.
