Sounds like a wonderful market opportunity for a “disruptive” startup. As much as I dislike Tesla for other reasons, building tires that last for the life of the car would probably be good for their bottom line.
- mc32 7y agoYep, that would be the digital sensor vs analog film scenario all over again. Kodak lost out (even though they were one of the first with quality high resolution sensors) because they didn’t want to cannibalizes and threaten their cash cow (and legacy or patrimony).
