Go for it. You will not regret it... I still have mine powered on and sits on my desk with an external plugged in. I suggest doing the FullHD mode if you're decent with a soldering iron. Here is a great resource for x220s. Enjoy!

- noisy_boy 7y agoI have never touched a soldering iron and quite wary of h/w tinkering - thanks for the link though. Even if I don't know how to work with h/w, I like to read about other people doing it.
