What’s a good place to look for an old reliable thinkpad? Do you find them on Craigslist or eBay?
I’d love to get an old one and stick an ssd in there for basic usage.
- bdcravens 7y agoI bought an i5 t460 (2-3 years old) for 300 on eBay. The keyboard was kinda nasty so I bought a replacement for 30 on Amazon.
- owenmarshall 7y agoI googled “used laptops” and found a company that resells off-lease computers. If you’re in a large(ish) city I’d expect you’d be able to find a similar company. I was able to pick up a x240 in great shape for $125, and test drive it in person before I paid.
