I’m remote and my company pays SF rates no matter where you live, though I know a lot of companies localize based on employee location. I’m guessing people that are splitting time between the US and Europe are probably having their entire salary/paychecks deposited into an account in one country or the other to make the tax situation more bearable at the end of the year.
