That sounds neither as effective nor as fast as pointing at my screen with my finger.
- marcinzm 7y agoI find it more effective. To looked over a screen you need to talk to me (or IM me), I then need to walk to your computer, squint at the screen and then ask you to move over if I need to dig into something (which then results in you squinting at the screen). The last one may involve me asking you to come over to my computer since your setup may be harder for me to navigate. With screen sharing I don't have to move, don't have to squint, we both get to have a perfect view of what is going on and I can pull things up on my own computer concurrently (and show it to you if I want to). edit: In fact, I find it so useful that even when we're in the same room the approach is to screen share.
