This is why I love the gig economy. "Barista FIRE" sounds awful, but "Uber FIRE" sounds great.
- germinalphrase 7y agoIt’s a nice fantasy, but nobody in the US is going to FIRE based on giving Uber rides without being very nearly in a financial position to FIRE without it.
- 0xB31B1B 7y agoan extra 12k usd/year goes a long way to FIRE status. Both uber and barista routes seem viable for this.
