I would love to switch to safari. What do you use for ad-blocking?
- mraison 7y agoI find AdGuard pretty good, but I’ve only started using it recently.
- nisuni 7y agoYou could also try ublock origin.
- Wowfunhappy 7y agoUBlock Origin supports Safari: https://safari-extensions.apple.com/details/?id=com.el1t.uBlock-3NU33NW2M3 https://safari-extensions.apple.com/details/?id=com.el1t.uBl...
- iscrewyou 7y agoI didn’t realize unlock origin works on safari. This is very helpful. Thanks!
- latexr 7y agoIt’s deprecated.
- xrisk 7y agoThis hasn't been updated in over a year (last commit Apr 2018). Personally, I use Wipr from the App Store because it's very cheap. AdGuard is also an option.
- darek 7y agoIt seems like it's won't be working on Safari for much longer. Info from 2 days ago "I can confirm that on macOS Catalina Developer Beta 1, uBlock Origin is completely removed as it is not using the MAS distribution method." - ravivyas 7y ago1Blocker and I also use LittleSnitch as a blocker.
- m-p-3 7y agoPi-Hole is a nice DNS-level adblocker, works with anything. Otherwise I discovered nextdns.io recently, which seems to work well too.
- azretd 7y agoI use Wipr both on IOS and MacOS and it’s been great.
