Because telecom companies' monopolies are easy to understand. Google doesn't have to run wires to everyone's house. In fact, they tried and failed. It's a lot harder than building a website.
- wvenable 7y agoThey are easy to understand and the harm that they do to consumers is very real and easy to measure.
- yeahitslikethat 7y agoInternet should be classed as a utility and regulated as such. Infrastructure and bits should be separate.
