- sbarre 7y agoIt specifically says "PS4" and "Xbox One S" controllers.. I hope that just means "Bluetooth" and they're not doing some exclusive BS where only those two specific controllers will work. I have a 30$ 8BitDo Bluetooth controller (that works on PS4, Xbox, Switch, Windows, MacOs) that I'd love to just throw in my travel bag with my iPad when I'm on the road.
- JimDabell 7y agoiOS has had files and gamepad support for years. The new things announced today are: - SMB fileshare and SD card access in Files on iOS. - PS4 and Xbox One gamepad support for the HomePod & iOS.
- teilo 7y agoiOS had MFi gamepad support. It has never had general gamepad support. Not sure it does even now. At least now you can have a gamepad that will work with iOS and all Mac games. Most Mac games do not work with MFi controllers.
