I used to work across from a Starbucks and I'd routinely have three venti light brews over the day, 60 oz is 5 cups. And Starbucks was very high in caffeine content for drip coffee, plus light roasts have more caffeine. For me, it was something I could sip all day long, especially as black coffee is a tasty zero-calorie beverage, and at least in the morning I'd feel that rush of focus. Eventually had to give it up due to insomnia.
