I don’t disagree that China is a threat to our democracy, however I cannot accept that the US dictates what products I can buy as an EU citizen. Remember the Snowden leaks and when the Obama administration made it clear that surveillance is targeting non-citizens? Remember when they made it clear that those of us, not living in the US, have no rights? And indeed, we have no right to vote, we had no say in the Trump administration being elected and now we have no say in US’s economic war. So you see, no matter what arguments you bring forth, as long as we have no say in it, our dependency on Android and other US technologies is becoming a serious problem.
