- stale2002 7y agoAt the end of the day, he was going to be sent to the US. That is exactly what the "conspiracy theorist" predicted, and exactly what happened. If you thought otherwise, then you were wrong. Full stop.
- beojan 7y agoAssange's argument not to be extradited to Sweden was that he could then be extradited to the US from there. This was patently absurd given the much closer cooperation between the UK and the US, and this has been demonstrated because the US is extraditing him directly from the UK. That the US would try to extradite him was never really in doubt. The conspiracy theory was that the Swedish charges were trumped up because it would be easier to extradite him from Sweden.
