Food trucks and takeout get the job done.
- dmurray 7y agoHow much counter space do you need in the kitchen if you never cook?
- closetohome 7y agoI live in a studio, so it gets used as a general purpose workspace for all kinds of stuff.
- snazz 7y agoThis is probably unwanted advice that you’ve heard before (I’m also assuming that you don’t cook as a result of inexperience, not just because you don’t want to), but I would recommend learning to cook for yourself at least a few times a week. It’s better for your health and your wallet, besides being a useful skill. You can make thousands of meals only knowing how to boil water.
- closetohome 7y agoThat's great advice and I appreciate it. I'm actually a fairly experienced cook, and cooked for myself and my roommates for years. Then I moved into a studio by myself, in a neighborhood with copious food trucks and restaurants, and I just kind of stopped doing it regularly. I still enjoy doing Thanksgiving and cooking for parties, but that's usually at someone else's place.
