Ask HN: Has anyone gone through SoC 2 compliance as a solopreneur?

I started a SaaS business about a few years ago selling to mid-market B2B tech companies and as I'm moving into larger and larger deals I'm butting heads with IT because I don't have a SOC 2 or ISO 27001 certification. Going into this is as a single-person companies is far easier than executing on it if the company were to grow but it feels like a bear even at this stage. Has anyone else gone through this process running a single(or even a few) person company? Was it worth it? What were the pitfalls I should be aware of?
