There used to be windows embedded which had a different philosophy but was dropped on windows 10. Now we have IoT but figuring out the applicability and license model is tricky. It seems it’s another thing where MS isn’t sure what they really want so they crank out a ton of variations of the same thing and you have to guess what to use.
