- BuckRogers 7y agoI can't say that entirely surprises me. Reading through the other comments, seems like Windows IoT Enterprise is the best fit, which is something I didn't know about. I've always wondered how something like this is approached in the Windows10 era. They certainly have plenty of SKUs. I can see how you reached for the wrong thing, I can't say I would or would not have done all the research to find IoT Enterprise, may well have gone with LTSC myself if in your shoes.
- maxxxxx 7y agoThere used to be windows embedded which had a different philosophy but was dropped on windows 10. Now we have IoT but figuring out the applicability and license model is tricky. It seems it’s another thing where MS isn’t sure what they really want so they crank out a ton of variations of the same thing and you have to guess what to use.
