I'm pretty sure twin research shows that unless you abuse your kids, your parenting decisions (besides your income) have little effect on their general life outcomes.
- JohnFen 7y agoIndeed. I forget where I heard this, but my experience as a parent and seeing other parents has led me to think that (in the absence of abuse), this is true: parents tend to take both too much credit and too much blame for how their kids turn out.
