Yes. The "Once we leave the EU the US will give us a way better deal that the one they have with the EU&UK today" - ENDLESSLY keeps being trotted out. No indication as to why the US would want to do this. Trump's spent years whining about how NAFTA is a problem - and he's just going to hand a better deal to the UK? The only thing both sides can collectively agree on, is that our politicians are shit at negotiation. The difference between the sides is that one of them is insistent that post-Brexit our world-leading negotiation abilities will bring us milk and honey.
