- godelski 7y agoThis is a very common misnomer. Mainly because weapons require so much more enriched uranium. Enrichment plants have to be much bigger. A size difference you can usually tell just from satellite imagery.
- pfdietz 7y agoNuclear weapons can be built with plutonium, not enriched uranium. And plutonium from power reactors can be used, although it's not ideal.
- _Tev 7y agoThere's an order of magnitude difference between enrichment levels for reactors and for nuclear weapons. It's like saying that any nation with orbital rockets can throw asteroids at you.
