70x more nuclear power requires 70x more nuclear fuel too (or even if we doubled efficiency, that's still 35x more nuclear fuel).
And nuclear fuel does not exactly grow on trees...
- _Tev 7y agoWe can use spent fuel to make more. It's just too expensive now because we still have a lot of natural sources, so this will fix itself by supply & demand process. And fuel costs are really tiny fraction of nuclear energy cost so this won't even affect nuclear costs much.
