I'll have to take a look at BGB. I've been using NO$GMB, but I don't think it's maintained any more. One thing I didn't see mentioned in the article are the Pan Docs. Those document basically everything about the Game Boy at a low level.

BGB is the only emulator I know that emulated Pinball Deluxe without problems.
