With Hollywood accounting there is no way to proof this and well .. with all the shady things the movie industry and their cronies did over the years they kind of lost the "but you should trust us on this" position.
Maybe if we fixed it we could have a real discussion about what makes money and what doesn't.
- brokenmachine 7y ago100% agree, I'm just saying the argument. Honestly I couldn't care less if Hollywood goes away with it's predictable formulaic cookie cutter focus-group movies. It would be nice to see more movies where a director has an actual artistic vision and sees it through. You don't need a billion dollars to make a movie with a good story, developed characters and good acting.
