Ask HN: Should HN "reply" anchor tags include rel=nofollow?

Having rel="nofollow" in the anchor tags of "reply" links would instruct search engines to index the comments in one pass, instead of once extra for each sub-thread. This is useful when searching past HN topics and getting several hits for the same thread. It would be better to get just one result per thread instead of fragmented duplicates.
