The governments will go after companies no matter what legalese they get the customers to sign if it’s the best interest of the citizens.
You could flip the whole thing: why doesn’t Google just ban EU customers?
Just try to understand that we are culturally different from you guys and try to keep in mind both perspectives as if Google was not an American company.
