The ISP sent a notice in an email or what? I’ve never heard of this happening.
- palunon 7y agoThe ISP probably received an abuse complaint by an MPAA enforcement agency for some IP, and basically transferred it to their customer. Some big ISPs probably get enough of these to have automated the process, hence the difference of minutes.
- asdff 7y agoI've gotten a few warning popups from my ISP along with threatening letters in the mail. I didn't react at all and nothing happened.
