Good to know that's not the actual speed of light!
Anyway, it looks like the photons are "crawling" by their patterns of speed, rather than traveling at a fixed speed.
- jolmg 7y agoI would think that effect is due to impurities or lack of uniformity in the material which causes some spots to light up more than others.
