It seems to mostly be a propaganda article in the sense that I've never seen a statistical analysis supporting "Go down the list of high IQ individuals and what you'll mostly find is rather mediocre people with a few highly interesting quirks". That points out an interesting human bias problem about identifying intelligence, we're really good at dehumanizing our enemies, political, or whatever else, so presumably a theoretical AI not coincidentally matching the observers arbitrary standards of religion or politics or maybe even fashion would be viciously attacked as not being intelligent regardless of actual performance. Oceania has always been at war with Eastasia, therefore this AI is obviously not intelligent.
