Right, I left the Bay Area as a child. I still have a grandmother and 5 of her 7 children there. Things were more affordable back in 1963. I think it would be possible for a non-beginner Facebook employee willing to live in a 3-bedroom. It's not something I've seriously considered. I've grown to like Brevard county, FL. It's cheap and peaceful. Walking to work is often possible, and for driving there isn't much traffic. Out here it is a long commute if you drive more than 20 minutes. You'd do that if you wanted 5 acres of land or an affordable beachfront property.
