- dang 7y agoThe comment assigns all the resentment to one side and all the difficulty to the other. When you describe a conflict that way, you're subtly perpetuating it. When someone with the opposing identification runs into such a comment, inevitably they feel that their side has been excluded or treated unfairly. Then they feel compelled to respond in kind, leading to flamewar which we're trying to avoid here.
