The author is only looking at this from the client perspective of how 'they' will update the site. There is not a single comment about security and how WP is consistently a target for hackers. Is the client suppose to know that they need to update WP? What happens when their site is hacked or host is now apart of a botnet? This 'client' will still need someone to monitor/update their WP site or else.
