You could try the "new" link up at the top, and up-vote things you find interesting. There are a LOT of worthy submissions that never make it to the front page.

- LeBlanc 16y agoCompletely agree, often I find the best articles on /new and not on the front page. I think a great experiment for pg would be to set /new as the front page for HN and see what happens.
