The article goes to length about backroom dealings but has a lot of unnamed accounts, rumors and speculation. For me this is just an authority argument (trust us but not them) which doesn't work for me since I don't know this organization. That being said, this kind of sponsored opinions is kind what of the EU does. NGOs get grants, EU asks NGOs opinions on legislation. It can all be fare and right but it sure looks like the same.
