Doesn't Facebook still have a zoo of MySQL schemas in production for each table? While I'd believe the product works as intended in some fraction of production, I think it's reasonable to suspect some or all of the system is broken for a non-trivial set of users and/or groups. And then, what about all the data copied into Hive? Copied to 3rd parties? Does Facebook go and delete data that 3rd parties took?
