I've come to think that IOC/DI should almost be an anti pattern as it depends on interfaces and I've never seen anything use it that wasn't abstraction hell. Functional programming seems like a breath of fresh air, which is ironic since it predates all this modern buzzword centric world and was around with LSIP.
