I don’t know if it’s a semantic difference or not but some languages, like swift now have labeled loops so the break statement can reference the specific loop, allowing control flow to jump out of the nest.
- kevin_thibedeau 7y agoNothing new there. Labeled loop exits are a feature of Ada.
