Being a CEO of a company, is in no way comparable to any other position within that same company. There are orders of magnitudes different. There is a reason (rightfully so) that a CEO is paid much more than anyone else*. Like a doctor, who is responsible for lives - a CEO is responsible for 100's, 1000's of financial livelihoods... edit: of any company over say 30 in size.
