I think the article misses that you can't reach 5 without efficient and secure v2x.
- frosted-flakes 7y agoV2X?
- eb3c90 7y agoApparently vehicle to everything [1]. The car industry seems to love V2* terminology. V2H is connecting an electric vehicle to a home to provide power in an emergency. - wpietri 7y agoCould you point to some evidence that somebody has actually achieved level 5? Hopefully with a clear description of what the limitations are (e.g., weather, geography, time of day). Claims are easy. Especially claims of testing.
- panpanna 7y agoI don't know the details, these were from companies I never heard of. But these were driving around in fairly busy European streets with zero human interaction. (Don't like the new HN atmosphere were people down vote any comment they don't like)
- wpietri 7y agoIt's not any comment; it's a bold claim with no evidence. Also, it's not clear to me that you understand the levels. A car "driving around in fairly busy European streets with zero human interaction" is evidence of level 3, nothing higher.
