- lrem 7y ago"I don't know that understanding this system would've changed the outcome on this. In a million miles, you're going to maybe fly this airplane, maybe once you're going to see this, ever. So we try not to overload the crews with information that's unnecessary so they actually know the information we believe is important," the Sinnett said. https://www.cbsnews.com/news/boeing-737-max-audio-reveals-pilots-confronting-official-about-features-suspected-in-deadly-crashes-2019-05-14/ https://www.cbsnews.com/news/boeing-737-max-audio-reveals-pi...
- unityByFreedom 7y agoThanks. I see the comment above has twisted the story. This explanation sounds reasonable. No evidence of a censored employee.
- ksaj 7y agoIt says exactly what I said. Censorship is one form of shushing, but not one I brought up in the direction you interpreted it. > So we try not to overload the crews with information that's unnecessary so they actually know the information we believe is important, But there is that bit of censorship, basically being told pilots don't need this information, and that's why it wasn't given. What they "didn't need to know" killed a lot of people.
- unityByFreedom 7y ago> It says exactly what I said No, you said pilots asked questions and were shushed. You're being dishonest.
