Worked as a printer at a newspaper for almost 15 years. For the last 10 years been working as a software engineer (mostly web, some mobile). One of the biggest adjustments was trying to figure out how to not feel guilty when not "working". Even just taking a break, which I now know is important (at least for me) for solving knotty issues. It does give one a perspective that those who've only done WC work often don't have. I'm not one to diminish other's hard work however for me personally even really long days have not compared to my days working as a press operator.
