Isn't Wordpress the most hacked software on the web? This is free (domain aside), doesn't require managing upgrades and presumably has some redundancy.

This is free (domain aside), doesn't require managing upgrades and presumably has some redundancy.
- type0 7y agoFree plugins with awful code usually are, wp itself might be okay if you know how to secure it properly - but that so much more technically demanding that almost no one does it. Being so prevalent makes it to a huge target. SEO experts and social media marketers will tell you that nothing beats Wordpress, but that's not true I've seen plenty of static sites that are much more engaging, work faster and rank higher when they post good content often.
