The trees are over 50 years old though, even setting up new gmo orchards would take a long time.

- simcop2387 7y agoTo an extent I'd bet, but the base of the tree would still be vulnerable. Even then, I'd expect that it'd be a few years to a decade for the new grafts to really be able to produce anything significant.
