More of a general question: is there any license or addendum clause which could have remedied this? Linux distribution creators love adhering to specific license requirements. Would a choice between distributing vanilla software vs not distributing have been more appealing?
- bonzini 7y agoThat would make the program not free/open source (e g. CC-BY-ND is not considered free), so free-only distros such as Fedora would have simply not considered it.
