they would ask them for identification just like they did with this guy
- cjrp 7y agoOf every person wearing a headscarf or veil? And every cyclist wearing a filter mask?
- ptah 7y agonot sure, i'm not a policeman that is involved with these pilots. i am sure they are still developing policy around it
- kypro 7y agoWhat identification exactly? You don't have to own a passport or a drivers license in the UK, nor do we have ID cards.
- ptah 7y agomost people here in the UK would have a credit or debit card on them. almost everyone have a driver's licence, but bank cards are a must even for those that dont
- OJFord 7y agoAs true as it is that most people have them, they're not a form of identification...
- ptah 7y agoyes, but that is up to the discretion of the police officer
- rikkus 7y agoThis is entirely untrue.
- mises 7y agoThat does not mean they have to carry said stuff with them. Also, credit/debit cards do not store the same kind of information an ID card stores, particularly as there is no photo. Do you really think we ought to have a society in which no one can leave his house without his dog tag?
- ptah 7y agoi don't recall saying that people have to comply with having id on them at all times
- ptah 7y agoI am not saying that the police requires people to carry them, just that you pretty much need them in every day life
- RugnirViking 7y agoIt's extremely normal to travel without any kind of ID, especially photo id. The main thing a lot of people carry is their driver's license, but if you don't have one of those you might very legitimately have none.
