Looks like Arthur C. Clarke guessed correctly in his sci-fi novel https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/A_Fall_of_Moondust https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/A_Fall_of_Moondust, where a moonquake causes problems to a "sand-cruiser" full of tourists.
