Dirtbagging refers to those who are usually living in a van or something similar in and around climbing areas. So no, not up on the wall.
- Phithagoras 7y agoNot necessarily true. Split peas, peanut butter, rice, oats, chocolate chips and powdered milk are awesome food, whether on the ground or on the wall. They don't freeze in winter, they don't go bad when its hot, you don't need to wash your pot with soap, you can soak them for hours so you need only cook them for a few minutes. These make for ideal characteristics when on a multi-day climb. They're also cheap so dirtbags eat that same stuff when they're not on a big climb. Saves a lot of money.
