- zaroth 7y ago$28,000 per household only if every household pays $28,000. But that is never going to happen. It’s going to be percent, and likely a progressively increasing percentage. If you had a $1,400/mo employer plan you’d likely be paying a lot more than $1,400/mo under single payer.
