I was hoping was this about removing the toxic chemicals from thermal printer paper used for receipts. I refuse to touch that stuff and I warn cashiers that they should wash their hands often.

- susiecambria 7y agoI so agree about the topic. And while I do touch the receipts, though less and less the more I think about it, I am spending more time telling people they shouldn't touch it AND that it can't be recycled. The latter is always a big surprise. (Thanks to a witness at a public hearing on DC's Department of Energy and the Environment for raising this; it's the only thing I remember from the hearing!)
