This. It's unfortunate but true that Indian devs and especially Dev teams have a bad reputation amongst western companies. Nothing you can do about this to be honest, just be aware that it's an uphill battle for you to prove you are a good communicator and a skilled Dev beyond what would normally be accepted. On the other hand, and I know this isn't relevant to your case, but for some reason Romanian Dev teams have an excellent reputation from most people I've spoken too.
