I hear ya @mimixco. Just trying to be up front. I am highly specialized but possibly too specialized. My speciality is HFT Trading Operations but I'd love to get out. I have been working towards specialization in SWE over the past 2 years or so. However, in performing that job it has been difficult to specialize in SWE as the job demanded a bit Data Science and Product Management in addition to HFT duties. But I totally understand what you're saying.
